Students from the “Kosova” school in Tirana participated in the first workshop “Educational session for students and teachers on planting fruits and vegetables” at the new educational greenhouse’s rooftop.
The workshop program was designed by the Municipality of Tirana as part of the “Little Gardeners” project, which is part of the EU4Municipalities grant scheme. Agronomy professionals showed the youngsters the process of growing plants and provided them with important information about the greenhouse and the environment.
This event, which was attended by the EU4Municipalities team, came on the eve of the inauguration ceremony of the Educational Greenhouse on the rooftop of the “Kosova” school, which was constructed with the financial support of the European Union.
EU4Municipalities is a project funded by the European Union. It is implemented by a consortium led by NALAS, the Network of Associations of Local Authorities of South-East Europe (institutionally supported by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation), in partnership with the Association of Local Autonomy of Albania, Eco Partners for Sustainable Development, and Co-PLAN Institute for Habitat Development.
