What is EU4Municipalities?<\/h3>\n

EU4Municipalities<\/strong> (EU4M)\u00a0is financed by the European Union and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). It aims to strengthen local governance by improving municipal infrastructure and service delivery, supporting socio-economic development and enhancing dialogue and coordination between levels of government. The second phase of the project focuses on three intervention areas: a grant scheme for municipal services and infrastructure, technical assistance to strengthen multi-level governance and the municipal role in the EU accession process, and a shared digital platform supporting municipalities.<\/p>\n

    \u200bA core component of the programme will be a new grant scheme financing municipal investments<\/strong> ranging from EUR 100,000 to EUR 300,000, and up to EUR 500,000 for intermunicipal cooperation projects in areas that contribute to sustainable and inclusive local development.<\/p>\n

    The programme also foresees technical assistance, capacity-building <\/strong>activities and the development of digital tools<\/strong> to support municipalities in accessing EU funds and improving service delivery.<\/p>\n
